Guilford College and culinary partner Meriwether Godsey team together to provide all dining services for the campus. This alliance is a real partnership and we work together to provide fabulous food, true service, and strong stewardship.

Scratch Cooking

“Scratch” is defined as “from the beginning.”  We have always believed this is the right way to cook .  Many of our salad dressings, soups, sauces, composed salads and sides, entrees, breads and desserts are made from scratch.  In addition, we offer selections that are locally scratch made by friends of Guilford — like artisan breads and pastries. Without exception, our chefs are passionate about cooking and are remarkably creative so this expectation is part of Meriwether Godsey’s essence.

Student-Centric Approach

If the students aren’t happy, nobody’s happy.  It is our commitment to serve food that makes students happy.  The saying goes:  “feedback is the breakfast of champions.”  We want Guilford Dining to be a winner, so we want your feedback. In this business the customer is always right and our answer should rarely be “no.”   If you want to meet with our staff to discuss special events, new food ideas, or to tell us about a meal that didn’t go quite right, you will find open doors and open minds.
