Do energy bars really give you energy?
Yes! But only from calories — They won’t make you more energetic, smarter or stronger, but they can be a good occasional snack. Some tips:
- Choose bars with more fiber (minimum of 2 gms.)
- Choose low calorie & low saturated fat ( 2gm/serving)
- Skip the high protein (unless you are snacking after strenuous exercise)
- Get your vitamins from natural foods-your body will utilize them better
